Ordovee
FAQ

Common questions, answered.

How Ordovee tracks inventory, cross-references what every part fits, syncs your marketplaces, and runs on the warehouse floor. Still stuck? Send us a note — we reply quickly.

01

What kinds of operations does Ordovee serve?

Any operation that deals in salvaged, refurbished, or specialty parts — auto teardowns, electronics repair shops, appliance recyclers, marine parts dealers, heavy equipment rebuilders, vintage parts resellers. Ordovee is a Structured Disassembly Management (SDM) platform — if you track parts by SKU and sell across marketplaces, it fits.

02

How does inventory tracking work?

Every inventory movement — add, remove, transfer, adjust — writes an entry to the ledger with the actor, timestamp, quantity, and reason. ODV shows you current counts; the ledger is the full record of how they got there.

03

Which marketplaces does ODV integrate with?

eBay and Shopify — quantity sync, order import, and ODV-to-marketplace updates.

04

Can multiple team members work at the same time?

Yes — role-based access. Admins, managers, and warehouse staff each see the interface appropriate to their role. Multiple pickers can run concurrent sessions, and every action is attributed to the person who took it.

05

How do I get my existing data into ODV?

A two-step CSV import: upload your file, preview the parsed data with validation, then confirm to execute. Modes include create-only, update-only, upsert, and replace. eBay quantities import in bulk from your connected account.

06

Is my data secure?

Your account data is private and encrypted. Passwords are protected with industry-standard methods, and every connection is encrypted (HTTPS-only, HSTS enabled). A detailed audit log records every change.

07

How much does ODV cost?

Every plan runs the full system — you choose for scale (team members, monthly orders, media storage), never by feature. See the plans and what every account includes.

08

What hardware do I need?

Standard, off-the-shelf hardware — nothing proprietary. ODV runs in your browser, so a phone or tablet camera can scan QR codes to start, and a dedicated Zebra scanner (Android 10 or newer) is faster once you're at volume. Labels print as PDFs on any printer — a used Zebra thermal is our go-to. The hardware guide covers what we test and recommend.
